01 Is ThePriceMonkey free to use?

Yes — ThePriceMonkey is completely free. No subscriptions, no premium tiers, no alert limits. We're funded by Amazon's Associates programme: if you buy through one of our links, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

02 How do you let me know when a product drops in price?

You set an alert with a target price on the product page along with your email. When the current price drops to that target (or below), we send you an email with a direct link to Amazon. No password required: we use magic-link sign-in (a one-time link by email).

03 Where do the prices come from?

Directly from the official Amazon Product Advertising API (Amazon Creators programme). It's the same source that drives the prices you see on Amazon.co.uk. We don't scrape and we don't estimate. More details in our methodology.

04 What is the historical low price and how do you calculate it?

A product's historical low is the lowest price we've recorded for that product since we started tracking it. Every change is stored with its date, which lets us show the full price history on the product page. The longer a product has been tracked, the more reliable its historical low.

05 Do you take a commission on purchases?

Yes — we're Amazon Associates. If you click one of our links and buy something on Amazon, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is identical to going to Amazon directly. This commission is what lets us keep the tool free.

06 How do I delete or reactivate an alert?

In the My alerts section of your account you can delete any alert with one click. If you've already received an alert but the price went back up, you can reactivate it and we'll notify you next time it drops.

07 Can I add products that aren't on your site?

Yes. In the "+" button on the top menu you can paste the URL of any Amazon UK product and we'll add it to the system automatically. From that moment we track it like our own and you can set alerts on it.

08 Which marketplace does this cover?

This site tracks exclusively products from Amazon UK (amazon.co.uk). Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT. Shipping availability and stock are the ones Amazon UK offers.

09 Do you share my email or data with third parties?

No. Your email is used only to send you the magic-link sign-in and the price alerts you set up. We don't sell data, we don't insert third-party ads, and you can delete your account at any time from the account section.
