BILITOOLS Brake Caliper Compression Tool, Ratchet Brake Piston Spreader

Product features

1. DETACHABLE 72-TOOTH RATCHET: The dual-ended wrench features matching 19 mm open and 72-tooth ratcheting box ends for flexible operation. Its fine-tooth ratchet needs only a 5° swing arc for easy access in confined spaces, reducing repositioning while delivering smooth, controlled piston compression.
2. CENTER MAGNETIC QUICK-CONNECT: The built-in center magnet helps attach and remove the ratcheting wrench quickly while keeping the drive securely engaged. This detachable design speeds up setup and provides steadier control when compressing caliper pistons during brake pad replacement.
3. FOR PRESS-IN DISC BRAKE CALIPERS: Designed for single- and dual-piston floating calipers and selected dual- or 4-piston fixed calipers when clearance and contact area allow. Suitable forstraight-push caliper pistons on cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and many hydraulic go-karts; not for drum brakes or screw-in/wind-back rear pistons.
4. PRODUCT SIZE: Each pressure plate measures 4.57 × 2.20 inches (116.1 × 55.8 mm), and the working spacing between the two plates adjusts from 1.69 to 2.56 inches (43–65 mm).The assembled tool measures 9.65 inches (245 mm) long. Measure the available caliper space or check the vehicle service manual before purchasing to confirm proper clearance and fit.
5. HEAT-TREATED 45# STEEL: The two pressure plates and center mechanism are constructed from heat-treated 45# carbon steel for strength under compression and resistance to wear and deformation. A rust-resistant surface finish helps protect the tool during repeated garage and repair-shop use.
