2. Triple-Layer Filtration: Each cat fountain filter combines a cotton layer, activated carbon and ion exchange resin. The layers help intercept debris, reduce odors and condition the water, while the separate pre-filter sponge helps catch hair and larger particles before they reach the pump.
3. Prepare Before Installation: Soak each filter in clean water for 5 minutes, then rinse it for 30 seconds to remove loose activated-carbon particles. Install the filter and pre-filter sponge in the matching positions shown in the MISFANS fountain instructions.
